DJ King Flow (or Florent Jacquet, his real name), gave us some time after his classes in the park of the François Villon high school. This young 18 years old man with his hip-hop clothes style revealed himself as a simple person, with an unlimited determination. Indeed, Florent Jacquet has a talent which isn’t very known in France, but admired by many Americans. He started his career at the age of 9, to become DJ/Producer, helped by his friends, his family and more particularly by his father : “My dad always wanted to be producer, so I tried the experience, by adding my personal touch, to create something which is similar to my personality” revealed Florent. Before becoming DJ King Flow, Florent used the social networks to present his work to the many musical heads in the music industry, who gave him advice and opened many doors for him. That’s how the little virtuoso produced his first record with an artist from Queensbridge (Rap-P) at the age of 13. At 14, he was the holder of a radio show based in Brooklyn NY (Extravagangsta Radio) and he’s actually working with several Americans and Caribbeans based radios. His musical empire doesn’t stop here, at this time DJ King Flow has released over 7 albums and 130 mixtapes, which has at least 3000 downloads each and he maintains a real close relationship with the website Gorillaleak.com, which receive over 1 million visitors every month. Florent, a jazz fan, is planning to leave in New York next year to go on tour with many different hip-hop artists on the East Coast as well as going to the studio, shooting videos, etc… While waiting to leave his native country, he is actually finishing his year of school in his class of Literature, in Beaugency's high school : “Education is the key” said Florent, while trying to manage his life as a student, and his musical life.
